GARY, INDIANA (WKZO-AM) — One Kalamazoo man was mortally injured and three others required treatment after their Toyota extended cab pick-up went out of control on I-94 in Northern Indiana during a heavy rain storm just before 7:00 Friday night.
Indiana State Troopers say that 21-year-old Alfonso Balboa II of Kalamazoo was ejected from the back seat as the truck rolled.
They say the truck rolled over onto his body.
He died Saturday afternoon at a hospital in Gary.
The driver 21-year-old Luis Diaz and his two brothers required treatment, but are expected to recover. .
