COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies need the public’s help locating a car in a hit-and-run Saturday that hospitalized two people who had been riding a motorcycle.
They are looking for a blue four-door vehicle that should have damage to the front of the passenger side.
It happened at around 8 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies say the motorcyclist and his passenger were westbound on Celery Street when the car made a left turn onto Moline Street, directly in front of them.
The driver of the motorcycle could not avoid a collision with the car. Both of them were thrown from the bike.
The driver of the car fled the scene north on Moline, investigators said.
The biker is listed in stable condition and the passenger is in serious condition.
