ALMENA TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Michigan State Police say they are trying to determine if break-ins at two businesses west of the Kalamazoo-Portage metropolitan area are linked.
Lt. Dale Hinz said someone broke into Complete Care Automotive on M-43 just west of the Kalamazoo County Line in Almena Township.
They discovered the crime early Thursday morning. The thieves took expensive auto repair equipment and tools, Hinz said.
Troopers said there was also a break-in about two miles down the road at the Kalamazoo Fence Company on M-43 and 34th Street in Oshtemo Township.
Anyone with information, or who may has seen something at the two businesses overnight are asked to call Michigan State Police post in Paw Paw at (269) 657-5551.
