KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Over 2,500 classic cars will be on display at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds this weekend for the Northern Street Rod Nationals.
It’s the 37th year of the event and its 30th anniversary in Kalamazoo.
It gets underway Friday at 8 a.m. Adult tickets at the gate are $15, while tickets for children over the age of six are $6.
Jim Rowlett with the National Street Rod Association says over $70 million worth of vehicles will be on display.
“Come out and be a part, you’ll enjoy it,” Rowlett said. “I’m not sure you can do it in one day because there are a lot of things going on.”
The event also will feature local art, several automotive vendors and a swap-meet for the gearhead looking for rare and gently-used parts.
