KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Metro Transit switches over to their new expanded routes and longer hours today for their Line Haul buses.
Many routes that used to end at 10 p.m. will now continue past midnight.
Larry Zuiderveen says they will add buses to their most popular routes to speed service.hese changes are Monday through Friday.
Saturday service will remain the same but they will begin Sunday service running the buses once an hour.
Regular riders are advised to check the schedule on their favorite routes because their could be changes.
They hope that the expanded service will attract more riders.
The enhancements were made possible by a voter approved millage last year.
