CENTREVILLE (WKZO-AM) — A Centreville man is recovering at home after he totaled his pickup late Saturday afternoon in southern St. Joseph County.
Michigan State Police say John Kay III missed a curve on Covered Bridge Road just before 6 p.m. He left the pavement and hit a stump, which flipped the pickup.
Kay was transported to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, where tests were conducted on the 54-year-old. His cuts were stitched up and he was released.
Troopers are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
