BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — A shooting victim was said to conscious and alert after he was shot in the head in the 200 block of Summer Street in Battle Creek at about 8:30 last evening.
They say the 25-year-old victim is lucky because apparently they expect him to recover.
The Battle Creek man was taken to the hospital for treatment. A 30-year-old male, also a Battle Creek resident, was taken into protective custody while they investigate.
