KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — It’s not the Olympics and it’s not Artfest — it’s PalletPalooza and the judging begins Thursday.
Goodwill Industries invited local organizations to find new and innovative ways to repurpose wooden pallets.
Judging will take place within four categories: Art, furniture, functional applications and signs.
The event has resulted in 70 entries that are currently located in 26 locations around the community. There will be winners in each of the four categories and one grand prize winner picked by a panel of judges.

The winners will be announced at a Palletpalooza festival on August 13.
