KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Home prices in Kalamazoo-Portage increased 5.7 percent in June, compared to figures from last year.
Financial information firm CoreLogic is also predicting home prices to jump another 5.3 percent over the next 12 months.
The average increase in Michigan over the same timeframe was 5.1 percent. At 10.9 percent, the nation’s biggest increase was seen in Oregon. Connecticut saw the nation’s biggest decline at 1.7 percent.
The national increase was also 5.7 percent.
