KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation is asking commuters in the Kalamazoo area to be mindful of work next week on the U.S. 131 business loop.
Work is scheduled near Barney Road on Monday and Nichols Road on Wednesday.
“They’re doing to paving work, some bridge work,” MDOT spokesperson Nick Schirripa said. “There might be some bridge closures in your way.”
Schirripa said delays will be limited.
The agency is urging people to slow down and be careful when they see orange barrels or cones.
