CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck a bicyclist pedaling along U.S. 131 at about 4 a.m. Friday.
The collision occurred near Garber Road in Constantine Township. Investigators say it appears the car strayed over the fog line to hit the 57-year-old Three Rivers man from the rear.
He was thrown from the bike, suffering multiple non-life threatening injuries and taken to Three Rivers Hospital.
They say the motorist continued traveling south, without stopping to check the welfare of the man on the bicycle.
No description of the suspect vehicle was released.
