PAW PAW TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A 28-year-old Decatur man is jailed for attempting to force his ex-girlfriend into his vehicle and pointing a handgun at the woman’s father.
Investigators claim he entered the 27-year-old woman’s Paw Paw Township residence on 40th Street at around 6 p.m. Wednesday. She bolted from the area after escaping the suspect’s grasp.
The suspect later sped away from the scene in his vehicle, but was later found with the handgun used during the incident a home in Portage.
Police say the man was also wanted on six outstanding warrants.
