KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Another gun is off the streets of Kalamazoo.
A public safety officer spotted a suspect he knew late Tuesday afternoon in the Edison Neighborhood, making “furtive” movements that suggested he was carrying a concealed weapon. The officer checked his database and discovered the suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
The officer arrested him on the warrant. During a search of the suspect, the handgun was located.
He booked the 22-year-old into the Kalamazoo County Jail for carrying a concealed weapon and the original warrant.
