KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A directed patrol targeting illicit drug sales conducted by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety hit pay dirt in in the 600 block of Lake Street in the Edison Neighborhood.
Officers pulled over a car just after 10 p.m. Saturday and found crystal methamphetamine. A 54-year-old man from Dowagiac was arrested for possession of the drug and booked at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
That arrest resulted in officers obtaining a warrant to search a home. At that location, they found and seized a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine, packaging materials, a digital scale, cash and marijuana.
The 29-year-old found at the home at the time was arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
He has also been booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail.
