BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — The FBI has joined the investigation and police have released surveillance photos from a bank robbery that took place at the Fifth-Third Bank on Capital Avenue late Friday afternoon.
The unknown white male walked in and approached a teller demanding money.
The suspect is between 5-foot-6 and six feet tall. He weighs about 170 pounds and was wearing a mask, a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
He fled on foot east toward Randolph Street. The Battle Creek Police Department says he was last seen in the area of Roe Street.
A canvass of the area helped them find witnesses who saw him walk by, but two police dog tracks ended with negative results.
No weapon was seen or implied during the robbery and no one was injured.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Battle Creek Police Department, the FBI or Silent Observer.
