PORTAGE (WKZO-AM) — The Portage Fire Department as dispatched to a fire just after midnight at 6488 Evergreen a residential home.
First arriving crews encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions.
The occupants of the home were able to get out of the burning structure and there were no reports of any injuries.
They are still looking for the cause.
