BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM)– The head count is now up to six as investigators round up members of a human trafficking ring in Battle Creek.
Two men and a woman have already been charged and are being held on $500,000 bond each. Three more may be charged Thursday for their involvement in the scheme to force young women into prostitution in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, allegedly using coercion and drugs.
The suspects may also face federal charges.
More arrests may follow, investigators said on Wednesday.
