CASS COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A motorcyclist from Cassopolis wrecked his bike and suffered minor injuries while trying to navigate around the scene of an unrelated crash, officers with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said.
It happened near Dewey Lake and Twin Lakes roads in Wayne Township. 29-year-old Anthony Dempsey tried to drive around the scene at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
He was taken to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment of minor injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet.
