TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Fire investigators will be looking for the cause of a blaze that broke out in the garage of a home on 5th Street in Texas Township late Thursday.
The occupants of the home think it may have started in one of their cars.
It quickly spread to their home after a neighbor alerted the family that smoke was coming from their garage.
They managed to get all their pets out of the home safely.
One firefighter was checked out at a hospital after he reportedly stepped on a live power line. He is expected to recover.
