PORTAGE (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating after a motorboat crashed into a 30-year-old Portage woman’s kayak on Long Lake.
Investigators say it happened after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Christine Osozco suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Her kayak suffered minimal damage.
It’s not clear if the operator of the boat, 69-year-old Edward Palmare of Richland, will be charged.
