SPRINGFIELD (WKZO-AM) — A collision between a car and a motorcycle sent four to the hospital late Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred before 4 p.m. at Michigan Avenue West and Limit Street in the Northeast corner of Springfield, near the Kalamazoo River.
The person who suffered the worst injuries was a 47-year-old woman from Union City. She was rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital with unknown head injuries.
The 51-year-old motorcyclist, also from Union City, was transported to the same hospital in Kalamazoo with minor injuries.
The occupants of the car, a 28-year-old female and a 27-year-old male, were treated for minor injuries at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies said the two on the motorcycle were not wearing helmets.
