KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The fire marshal is investigating a suspicious house fire that heavily damaged a home on Kalamazoo’s far north side.
The call came in from neighbors at about 11:30 p.m. Friday. Smoke was coming from the two story wood frame home in the 1600 block of Princeton Avenue.
Soon after, flames started shooting through the roof of the structure.
Because it was vacant and had no utilities, it’s being treated as a suspicious fire until a cause has been determined.
There were no injuries reported.
