COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Three people were hospitalized after a head-on crash in the 9000 block of East Michigan Avenue in Comstock Township.
It happened before 10 p.m. Thursday when an eastbound vehicle attempted to pass another car using the road’s center turn lane, striking a third vehicle that was waiting to pull into a parking lot.
The victims suffered minor injuries.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s investigators believe speed and alcohol factored into the crash.
The incident remains under investigation, per a press release.
