KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — City of Kalamazoo representatives are set to cut the ribbon Thursday on the newly-renovated Woods Lake Park on Oakland Drive.
Director of Parks and Recreation Sean Fletcher said the ceremony wraps and 18-month construction process.
“We relocated and put in a new restroom and changing facility, a new picnic pavilion, new walking paths and a new playground for kids,” Fletcher said.
The renovation also includes new benches, more accessible parking and a fishing pier that extends into Woods Lake.
A grand opening ceremony is set for 4:30 p.m.
