LAWTON (WKZO-AM) — A sergeant with the Michigan State Police is recovering from serious injuries after his car crashed into a loaded cement truck at about 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Sgt. Mike Krajnak was northbound on M-40, heading to work at the MSP post in Paw Paw, when hit the vehicle broadside.
The trooper was banged up with broken ribs and a number of other injuries. He is at Bronson Methodist Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Troopers from another post are investigating the crash.
