ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — The latest in a rash of car burglaries in rural parts of southwest Michigan is being reported in the area of Rickey and Eisenhower Roads in St. Joseph County’s Fawn River Township.
Michigan State Police got its first report Sunday, and two others were also reported as troopers were investigating the first.
Investigators suspect there may have been more.
Troopers are warning car owners who park outside and don’t lock their cars that they just make it easy and attractive for thieves, who are now commuting to areas where people aren’t worried about crime.
In this case, troopers located some of the property that had been taken.
There have been no arrests.
