KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Bike Week got off to a chilly start this weekend in Kalamazoo, with a few events already held and several more scheduled for the week ahead.
While much of the emphasis is on fun, there will also be a lot of attention paid to the issue of safety. Wednesday evening, the “Ride of Silence” will be held in Portage to remember those who have been killed or injured in biking accidents.
There will be organized group rides each day through Sunday and a film festival featuring short films about bike riding will take place Tuesday at Bell’s Eccentric Café on East Kalamazoo Avenue.
We have a link to a complete schedule of events here.
