OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A young man is dead after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver along KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township late Wednesday.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies say he was struck by someone driving a white Chevrolet Equinox erratically, coming up from behind the man and struck him without warning. The driver then struck the victim a second time as the car continued along its path.
The victim was reportedly alive when paramedics loaded him into the ambulance but did not make it to the hospital.
Investigators they have found the car they believe was involved in the crash. No word yet on any arrests.
