KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team has made a significant methamphetamine bust.
Drug enforcement officers with the agency say a 27-year-old Las Vegas was working out of two motel rooms in the 3700 block of Easy Street, where he was dealing high-quality crystal methamphetamine cooked in a Mexican drug factory.
Officers with the task force were able to recover seven ounces of the drug, around 1,000 hits. They also seized $13,000 cash.
Sgt. Matt Schemenauer said the suspect was booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail on multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver and delivery of methamphetamine.
