OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Six people are safe after they were pulled by firefighters from the balcony of a burning apartment building in Oshtemo Township.
Investigators say it started while someone was cooking in a kitchen at the Aaron Glenn Apartments on South 11th Street at around 2 a.m. Thursday, prompting the occupants of three units to rush to a balcony.
A damage estimate has not been released.
Only one of the upstairs units was deemed uninhabitable.
