KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Tianna Caruthers visited Galilee Baptist Church during their 58th Anniversary services Sunday and picked up a big check to help her with her expenses.
The $19,200 was raised during a Choir Concert and fundraiser at the church held a few weeks ago. The 25-year-old was the first alleged shooting victim of mass murderer Jason Dalton, and one of two who survived that night.
You will be hearing a lot from Caruthers this week.
She has hired a media consultant who has scheduled two days of one-on- one interviews starting with national media outlets today, including ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC and Anderson Cooper.
This station is the first on the list for interviews with local media tomorrow.
