DEARBORN (WKZO-AM) — AAA Reports that statewide, gas prices shot up about 14-cents since last week, but it’s still 31-cents lower than it was at this time last year.
There’s good news overnight on the oil front that could affect where prices go.
OPEC announced they were unable to reach agreement on a freeze on oil production.
That means that there will continue to be more production of crude oil around the world and that means lower prices.
The news from OPEC will likely mean that while we may see spikes, we won’t see the return of $3 gas anytime soon.
