BANGOR TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A Van Buren County Deputy gave chase to a man in a purple Honda Accord that he knew had no license during the noon hour Friday.
The 31-year-old tried to elude the officer by going cross country, pulling into a driveway on 60th Street. He then drove across a front-yard, around a home and into a wooded area behind the home.
The Honda could not handle the terrain and broke down.
The driver was captured and the charges began to pile up. Not only was the man driving without a license, but they found Meth in the car and determined he had been using.
The vehicle also had an improper plate.
They also found stolen property in the vehicle that was taken from a home down the road, where other deputies were investigating a burglary.
The suspect was booked on multiple charges.
