KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo County commissioners have begun preliminary discussions on how they should replace county administrator Terrence Neuzil, who tendered his resignation last week.
Commissioner Scott McGraw said deputy administrator John Faul, who was interim administrator before Neuzil’s hiring, will likely take that “interim” tag again.
“So, that’ll be discussed,” McGraw said. “Then we have to discussing going forward with a new search.”
And now, there’s a chance that search won’t occur until next year.
“We may have to push it off until the next commission but John will be a good sitting guy to keep us going,” McGraw said.
There’s also talk of making Faul the permanent replacement. The options will be discussed when the board meets next week.
