KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Michigan Strategic Fund will provide over $484,000 in grants to help cover the cost of a $3.6 million dollar renovation of the historic train depot at Kalamazoo and Rose Street.
HopCat and Maru Sushi and Grill have been confirmed as future tenants of the renovated portion of the structure, which was built in the 1920s.
The development is expected to create a number of temporary construction jobs and 22 permanent positions.
