KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to a fast-moving fire that the owner claims began near the clothes dryer of a home in the 400 block of Ingleside Terrace.
It happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday. By the time the first public safety officers arrived, the fire had already spread to the kitchen.
They were able to knock it down in about 20 minutes, despite being confronted with heavy smoke and fire inside the home.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire marshal will investigate to verify the cause.
