BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Prosecutors say they have filed a felony charge against a 16-year-old girl accused of leaving a handwritten bomb threat in a bathroom at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek.
The child, who has not been named, faces one count of making a false report or threat of terrorism.
If convicted, she could spend up to 20 years in prison.
Students at Harper Creek Community Schools were sent home early after the note surfaced Monday afternoon.
