BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — System work has prompted the city of Battle Creek to post a boil water advisory for residents on Hazel and Seedorf streets.
The closure on Hazel spans from Walter Avenue to Seedorf Street. The closure on Seedorf spans from Hanover to Congress streets.
The city says it’s reducing water pressure in that area of the city either for improvement or repair work, which creates the potential for bacteria to enter the system.
It’s not clear yet when the advisory will be lifted.
