DETROIT (WKZO-AM) — An American Airlines co-pilot is in big trouble after he reportedly failed a sobriety check just before a flight was scheduled to leave Detroit Metro Aiport for Philadelphia.
A spokesman for the airport said that the unidentified crew member was over the strict 0.04 blood-alcohol content for pilots Saturday morning. He was arrested and charges are pending.
There will also be measures taken by the airline, including possible termination.
The flight had to be canceled and passengers were put on different planes.
