DECATUR (WKZO-AM) — The Van Buren County Sheriff’s narcotics unit raided a home in the 600 block of South George Street in the Village of Decatur, after receiving a tip that adults were cooking methamphetamine in a home where three children were living.
The raid turned up one active meth lab, discarded meth cooks and materials for making more of the illegal drug.
They also seized the finished drug and marijuana.
A 47-year old man was taken into custody, as was 31-year-old Jaclyn Blatson of Lawton. Blatson was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
A 29-year-old woman was not arrested but may face charges later.
Sheriff’s deputies have referred the case to Child Protective Services, which has opened an investigation.
