GANGES TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Multiple charges have been filed against an Allegan County ex-convict who allegedly attacked his girlfriend with acid, possibly leaving her permanently disabled and disfigured.
Gregory Marsman, 53, of Fennville, has been charged with torture, home invasion and his third domestic assault offense. He has also been charged as a habitual offender, which means he could get life if he’s convicted on any of the new charges.
Marsman had been seeing Sheryl Keech, 54, for a decade. Keech’s son said his father’s behavior had recently become more erratic and unstable.
The acid on Keech’s face and in her throat has left her on breathing and feeding tubes and may have left her blind. She remains hospitalized in critical condition after the attack.
Marsman is being held on $100,000 bond.
