KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Controversial documentary filmmaker Michael Moore is scheduled to appear at a free event on the Western Michigan University campus.
He’s expected to talk about the water crisis gripping his hometown of Flint and the decline of poor communities during a discussion entitled “It Only Hurts When I Laugh” at Miller Auditorium on April 6.
The director and producer of “Roger and Me,” “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” released his newest film, “Where to Invade Next,” last year.
It gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
