BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Police are investigating after the owner of a Battle Creek business in the Fort Custer Industrial Park was found dead in a drain.
The body of the 68-year-old Galesburg man was found submerged at around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Investigators believe the victim was trying to clear the drain, which is located in front of the property’s loading dock, during the overnight hours. However, they did not offer any theories as to how the man’s death may have been caused.
Foul play is not suspected. A medical review has been ordered.
