PORTAGE (WKZO-AM) — A faulty bathroom fan is being blamed for a second-floor fire at a house on Eagle Court in Portage, just west of West Milham Avenue and Oakland Drive.
Firefighters had the blaze out in about 15 minutes after responding to a 911 call before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire caused just over $13,000 damage.
