KALMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Fortune Magazine has released its latest list of the “Best Places to Work” in the United States, and four of the top 40 firms are here in Michigan.
The Kalamazoo-based Stryker Corporation, which produced medical devices, ranked 21st on the list.
Christopher Tkaczyk, the editor of the publication, said topping the list for the seventh year in a row was Google.
Companies are rated by flexible schedules, opportunities to advance, job satisfaction and, of course, salaries and perks.
Also making the list from Michigan: Quicken Loans in Detroit ranked 5th overall, up from 12th place. Credit Acceptance and Plante and Moran Accounting, which are both in Southfield, ranked 27th and 33rd respectively.
