KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — There is a possible homicide under investigation in Kalamazoo Township.
Chief Tim Bourgeois says officers responded to a 911 call at around 6 p.m. A woman lying in her driveway at 1220 Foster Avenue, on the east side of the Kalamazoo metropolitan area.
First responders determined she was already dead. It was not immediately clear how she died, but a medical examination began in the driveway and will continue in the lab.
They also secured a warrant to search the woman’s home.
They are trying to contact family members before releasing the 41-year-old woman’s name to the public.
