KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Jason Dalton, the suspect in Saturday’s deadly shootings in Kalamazoo, received an associate’s degree in criminal justice at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 1992, but apparently never went to the school’s police academy.
Dalton knows his rights, which may explain his demeanor during his interrogation.
Michigan State Police Detective Chuck Christiansen said Dalton has been “quasi-cooperative.”
“From his responses, there has been very little remorse,” Christiansen said.
Dalton is being held without bond in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
He’s accused of killing six people and wounding two others during three shootings Saturday night.
