KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — An elder with the Faith Temple Church in Kalamazoo has relinquished his duties and submitted a formal resignation after his property was raided earlier in the week and ten dogs seized.
There are allegations from the Humane Society of the United States that Kelvin Thomas had resumed raising animals for dogfighting, after an arrest in 2012 for that same crime.
He has not been charged with anything at this time, but no final decision has been made on his case.
