BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — It may have looked like the Post Community Credit Union in Urbandale had just been robbed on Monday, but police say it was only a drill.
Officers from the Battle Creek Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit conducted a mock robbery to give both their officers and the bank staff a chance to be involved in a realistic simulation to experience the stress and to practice what their training has taught them.
Staff participated directly in the scenario while other employees observed.
It’s the second time the credit union has hosted a training session with police.
