KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The Western Michigan University student who was struck and critically injured near the school’s Kalamazoo campus last weekend has been identified as 21-year-old Amanda Zouhoury, a marketing major from Troy.
Investigators say she was crossing West Michigan Avenue on Feb. 6 when she was hit by a driver, who apparently had the right of way. She has been in critical condition at Bronson Methodist Hospital since the crash.
At the time of the collision, she was walking with friends who attend the school.
